About

Founded in 1951 by Celia Franca in Toronto, the National Ballet of Canada is the nation's largest and most prestigious ballet company. Based at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts, it presents a world-class classical repertoire alongside Canadian and international contemporary commissions.

The company has toured internationally and produced celebrated artists including Karen Kain and Rex Harrington. Under Hope Muir's artistic direction, the National Ballet continues to advance classical ballet and nurture new choreographic voices.
