About
The Clore Studio is an intimate performance and rehearsal venue located within the Royal Opera House at Covent Garden in London. This laboratory-style experimental space serves as a hub for contemporary choreography, workshop performances, and the Royal Ballet's artistic development initiatives. With flexible seating arrangements and state-of-the-art facilities, the studio accommodates theatre-style seating for up to 176 people, or can be configured for seated dinners of 150 or standing receptions of 250.
Refurbished with new dance flooring, enhanced broadcasting capabilities, and modern climate control, the Clore Studio hosts an extensive programme of daytime events, exhibitions, and experimental performances. The space is particularly renowned as home to the Artists' Development Initiative, which nurtures emerging and visiting creative talent. Located on Bow Street in the heart of Covent Garden, the studio provides a unique intimate setting for innovative artistic exploration within one of London's most prestigious cultural institutions.
