Biography

Ivana Bueno, a Mexican dancer born in McAllen, Texas, trained at Fomento Artístico Cordobés in Córdoba and completed her studies at the Princess Grace Academy in Monte Carlo. Her talent caught the eye of English National Ballet's Artistic Director Tamara Rojo, who offered her a contract directly from the academy. Since joining ENB in 2018, Bueno has rapidly ascended through the company ranks, achieving promotions to First Artist in 2022, Junior Soloist in 2023, and First Soloist in 2024. She originated the role of Clara in Aaron S. Watkin and Arielle Smith's Nutcracker and has performed leading roles including the Sugar Plum Fairy, Odette/Odile, and Cinderella in major classical productions.
