Junor Souza

Junor Souza was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and began training at age seven at Escola de Dança. He continued his studies at English National Ballet School before joining English National Ballet in 2008. Over his career with ENB, he has achieved substantial recognition, earning promotions to First Artist in 2010, Junior Soloist in 2011, First Soloist in 2014, and in that same year won joint first place in the Emerging Dancer competition. Souza's extensive repertoire includes principal roles in both classical works such as Wayne Eagling's The Nutcracker and Derek Deane's Swan Lake, as well as contemporary pieces by leading choreographers including Kenneth MacMillan and William Forsythe.
