Biography
Marianna Tsembenhoi is a British-Ukrainian Coryphée of The Royal Ballet, promoted to First Artist in 2024. Born in Kyiv, she trained at the Kijanochka Ballet School from age three before joining The Royal Ballet School in 2017 and the company in 2020. She won multiple Youth America Grand Prix medals in 2016.
Tsembenhoi is a poised and lyrical dancer who has established herself in lead roles early in her career. She has performed Giselle, Clara in The Nutcracker, and the Shepherdess in The Winter's Tale, alongside a range of corps and soloist roles across the Royal Ballet's classical and contemporary output.
