Biography

Nathalie Harrison is a retired dancer and former First Artist of The Royal Ballet. Born in London, she trained at The Royal Ballet School and won a silver medal at the Genée International Ballet Competition in her graduate year. Joining the Company in 2003, she was promoted to First Artist in 2009. She created roles in Sensorium and Diana and Actaeon (Metamorphosis: Titian 2012), and completed a course in Ballet Education Practice at the Royal Opera House in 2013. Her performance repertory included Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet, Dulcinea in Don Quixote, and Bathilde in Giselle. She also appeared in Nicholas Hytner's 2012 production of Timon of Athens at the National Theatre and provided dance demonstrations for Darcey Bussell's Ballerina Heroines on BBC2.
