Biography

Viola Pantuso is an American Soloist of The Royal Ballet, promoted in 2025. Born in Chicago, she trained at the Joffrey Academy of Dance and the Ellison Ballet Professional Training Program in New York before joining The Royal Ballet School at White Lodge in 2017. She joined the company as part of the Aud Jebsen Young Dancers Programme in 2021.

Pantuso is a vivid and expressive artist who has quickly established herself in both classical and contemporary roles. Her debut as Alice in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland drew critical attention, and she has also performed Olga in Onegin and Perdita in The Winter's Tale. She won the Lynn Seymour Award for Expressive Dance in 2023.
