Biography

Francisco Serrano is a Spanish-Cuban Soloist of The Royal Ballet, promoted in 2024. He trained at the Sarasota Cuban Ballet School before winning a Youth America Grand Prix scholarship to The Royal Ballet School in 2014. He joined the company as part of the Aud Jebsen Young Dancers Programme in 2016.

Serrano brings a powerful stage presence and natural charisma to his roles. He created the role of Pedro in Christopher Wheeldon's Like Water for Chocolate and has performed Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet and the Drum Major in Different Drummer across a wide range of the company's classical and contemporary repertoire.
