Biography
Hannah O'Neill is a New Zealand ballet dancer and Étoile of the Paris Opéra Ballet, and has appeared as a Guest Artist with The Royal Ballet. She joined the Paris Opéra Ballet in 2011 and was awarded a permanent contract in 2013. In 2023, she was promoted to Danseuse Étoile—one of the few non-French dancers to achieve this distinction. O'Neill made her debut with The Royal Ballet as Giselle, becoming the first Paris Opéra Ballet dancer to perform at Covent Garden since Sylvie Guillem more than twenty years earlier. She performed in partnership with Royal Ballet Principal Reece Clark. Her presence as a guest artist exemplifies the international collaboration that defines contemporary ballet at the highest level.
