Biography
Leo Dixon is a British First Soloist of The Royal Ballet, promoted in 2024. Born in Bristol and raised in Plymouth, he trained locally with Linda Mortimore and Ryan Moore before attending Elmhurst School for Dance and then The Royal Ballet Upper School. He joined the company's Aud Jebsen Young Dancers Programme in 2015.
Dixon is a fluid and expressive dancer at home in both the classical and contemporary repertoire. His roles include Lensky in Onegin and Benno in Swan Lake, alongside work in Crystal Pite's Flight Pattern, Arthur Pita's The Wind, and Liam Scarlett's Frankenstein. He has also created roles for Mthuthuzeli November, Joseph Toonga, and Wayne McGregor.
