Biography

Meaghan Grace Hinkis is a British-American First Soloist of The Royal Ballet, joining the company in 2011. Born in Connecticut, she trained locally before attending the Hartt School and later American Ballet Theatre in New York, where she worked with ABT2 before moving to The Royal Ballet School.

Hinkis has carved out a reputation as a versatile artist with a particular affinity for Frederick Ashton's works. Her roles include Alice in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Princess Stephanie in Mayerling, Olga in Onegin, and Elizabeth Lavenza in Frankenstein. She is admired for her acting intelligence, musical sensitivity, and technical confidence across a wide range of styles.
